The challenge

Traditional ceramics are often separated from contemporary everyday use. Cafés offer a meaningful social context for bringing craft, ritual, and material culture back into daily life.

Design goal

Create functional ceramic vessels inspired by Iranian craft traditions and tailored to contemporary café menus, rituals, and hospitality settings.

Research & key insights

01

Cafés are important cultural spaces for everyday social interaction.

02
